Some old Lori Land News that is no longer new and fresh!

Saturday, August 23, 2008 www.ISMcommunity.org

ISM: sk8ology is a fundraising exhibition and auction that combines skateboard counter culture with the world of fine art. Over 150 donating artists, celebrities and skaters mixing mediums in support of ISM: a community project and Now That You Know, two worthy non-profit organizations.

Check out my custom printed things at Cafe Press. A cool way to buy things with my art printed on them. More products coming soon.

New art in my Fine Art gallery! They are two ink wash paintings I created recently...Check em out! I plan to do more work in this medium. I've decided color is too complicated for me right now.

Here is my submission for the ISM Untitled LOVE Project. If you are in the area, go to the show! May 26th. I will try to go. It will be awesome!

I'm Published!

Kristen Altbaum's book is at Amazon now! It is called The Queens Wish by Kristen Altbaum.

This is a book I illustrated in early 2006. It is about adoption: a Queen searches the world for a special princess to call her own, with the help of her pet stork. Very cute. Buy a copy of your own and have me sign it!

The Orange Show at the Crux Gallery in Chico. And me with my orange painting. January 26, 2007

I submitted a Little Square to the ISM Quarterly Little Square Show at the Orange County Museum of Art. On their site is a list of all the artists who participated, me included. Check it out and see my square!

ISM Quarterly Little Squares

Slab of Dalmation: GONE!
My mom kindly took it to a white elephant party and it was the life of the party! I bet itwill show up in years to come!

Paper mache robot that really moves! In fact he made me breakfast this morning. I programmed him well. Next I'm having him do my laundry. Cuz that's what robots are for. Spend more time making a robot to do something that could have been finished long before said robot was finished.
I thought I'd document my unfinshed window art I was doing for Codie. Actually mostly it was for privacy in his room. An extreme undertaking as painting with faux stained glass window paints in such a large area takes some elbow grease. As you can see I never finished the other sliding glass door. Maybe one day I'll finish... if he asks me to.

Wouldn't it be cool to see every single piece of art I've ever created in my life, all in one spot? Welcome to the archives.
My goal is to do just that.

This is a chair

Could have been cool...

Look what I found! My first oil paintings on paper.

Try my very first web site for archives:

Here are some old images I have posted on my website for various reasons, mostly though, for my own entertainment. So...

Evidence of my ownership of souls.

In memory of my studio.
In memory of Baltimore.
When I first realized snowflakes were real, you couldn't imagine my excitement.
In memory of bones I found one day in the park.

The icon that seemed to annoy people.
No guts to actually do real graffiti. Photoshop baby.
